Every person needs a caring church family, and it is our desire that you will consider Livingston Baptist Church to fill that need in your life.
Livingston is an Independent Baptist Church and is located at 4629 Livingston Chapel Road, in Delco, NC. Our church is easily accessible from Highway 74 at the end of Water Tank Road. We invite you and your whole family to be our guests this coming Sunday. We have Sunday School classes available for all ages including Nursery, Beginner, Primary, Junior, Teen, Young Adult, Open Door(Adult), and Ambassador (Adult class). We believe you will find a very warm and friendly reception, and an atmosphere of worship that is refreshingly traditional and inspiring. We are excited about what the Lord is doing here at Livingston, and we invite you to come and join us as we serve the Lord together. About Our Pastor, Matthew Griffin
Pastor Griffin was born in Monroe, North Carolina, and was raised in a preacher’s home in the port city of Wilmington. He was saved at the age of thirteen. After high school, he felt the Lord leading him to attend Bible College. During his sophomore year at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) he accepted God’s call upon his life and surrendered to the preaching ministry.
After receiving his master's degree in biblical exposition from PCC, he served as Assistant Pastor in Winston-Salem, NC for 8 years, working with both the youth and music ministries. He has served as Senior Pastor of Livingston Baptist Church since February of 2009. He and his wife Sharon have been blessed with two children, Micah and Abigail who are both presently attending PCC. It is the heart of Pastor Griffin to have a ministry that is pleasing and glorifying to the Lord. His desire is that God be exalted and that in all things Christ might have the preeminence (Colossians 1:18). |
