God's Simple Plan of Salvation
Are you concerned about where you will spend eternity? Are you searching for a peace that God will one day accept you into His heaven? You can have this assurance through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
> Realize God loves you. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” > Realize everyone is a sinner. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” > Realize sin has a price that must be paid. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” > Realize Jesus Christ died to pay for your sin. Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” > Pray humbly and ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior. Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Pray a prayer something like this: “Dear God, I know that I’m a lost sinner and in need of a Savior. I know that I deserve eternal punishment in hell because of my sin. But I believe that you died on Calvary and rose again to pay the penalty for my sins. Please forgive me of all my sin, come into my life, and make me one of Your children. Thank you, in Jesus’ name, amen. If you now know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, it is vitally important for you to follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. That’s the first step in becoming obedient to Christ. You then need to become a member of a good, Bible believing church where you can grow spiritually and serve the Lord with other believers.
